Its synthesis and availability at a commercial scale have been limited, making it a valuable compound for industries requiring high-purity intermediates.

Our Contribution:

We designed and validated the chemical synthesis process for DMAS at a Pilot Plant Scale, ensuring feasibility for large-scale production.

About UF Resin:

Urea Formaldehyde (UF) Resin is widely used in adhesives, wood panels, and coatings. It plays a critical role in industries such as furniture manufacturing, plywood production, and construction. However, traditional formulations face cost and environmental challenges.

Market Need:

  • Cost-effective alternatives to traditional UF Resin.

Our Contribution:

We developed a cost-effective UF Resin formulation, reducing the manufacturing cost to ₹13 per kg. This was achieved through multiple process and formula modifications, validated at the lab scale.
